Practical Living Ministry is a Non-Denominational Ministry called and purposed by God to impact people's lives for kingdom of God by teaching biblical concepts for practical living. We exist to assist individuals, groups, and organizations to realize and operate according to their full God-given ability and to teach principles that will lead to deliverance, spiritual development and perfection through the work of the Holy Spirit. We are a God-centered, people-focused ministry offering a varied range of spiritual and professional tools to assist individuals in becoming all they can be in Christ. We also provide special ministry through work of "Free Indeed," our Addiction Recovery ministry, and Transforming Thoughts Counseling Services where we provide individual, family, and deliverance counseling for people experiencing grief, trauma, negative thoughts, fear, and anxiety. Welcome to our site. If you find something that inspires, encourages, and enlightens you, we invite you to come join us at any of our worship services. We would love to fellowship with you as we journey through life together.
Free Indeed is a Biblically based 12 step program for men and women ages 18 or older dealing with any type of addiction. This program is sponsored by Ministerial Alliance for the Prevention of Self Abuse (MAPA, Inc.) Virginia Chapter. We meet at Practical Living Ministries, 1050 Old Bridge Road on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm. Our objective is to cultivate holistic health for people recovering from any addiction or overcoming other major life-impacting issues. The physical, mental, and spiritual development of a person serves to inoculate that person against relapsing into old harmful behaviors and actions.
